520 _aThe works gathered here analyze, primarily, the theoretical discrepancies between Marxist and non-Marxist sociology. There are several significant issues in this regard. One is the limit between social science and human biology, a theme that gains new prominence in light of his current conception of the dialectic between man and nature. On the other hand, social psychology and Western literature provide a dialectical understanding of the relations between society and individual consciousness that can overcome some purely mechanistic psychological conceptions of Marxism. From this sample of works, it is inferred that everyone shares a concern that the social sciences turn towards the fullness of the human phenomenon, without being trapped in an anti-humanist scientism.
